On Monday, we are doing a Memorial WOD for Mike Rudy Nyhuis. He lived a vibrant, full, and extraordinary life, but was taken from this world too young.
His sister, Kim Heizmann, has organized a Memorial WOD in his memory.
Memorial WODS should be challenging, and some of the most intense workout experiences. In my mind, they give us an opportunity to remember how lucky we are to be alive and remind us that life is short. Please don’t think “that workout looks hard,” instead… focus on what you can do. Scale where needed, and think of those who you love, and those who are no longer with us in this life, but will always be in our hearts.
