A couple years ago I was diagnosed with Celiac disease and had a rough time dealing with chronic fatigue, joint pain, no appetite at times and just generally feeling exhausted and really crappy. I had been to every doctor/specialist – even sent for a bone marrow biopsy – because doctors couldn’t figure out why I was feeling the way I did on a gluten free diet. So two months ago I started working with Melissa Joa, the holistic nutritionist at our gym. She has been putting me through stages of her program teaching me to listen to my body and how I feel and I have to say I haven’t felt this good in years! I got so used to feeling tired and crappy I had forgotten what it felt like to feel good all the time and have energy. If anyone is feeling like they need a re-boot or need help with body image or proper eating habits I recommend working with Melissa 100%. She is truly amazing and teaches you how to make eating and exercising work with your body because everybody is different. So thank you Melissa for all you have done for me. I appreciate it more than you will ever know.
